The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Second Round: Böcklin v. Buren!


Through the tiebreak mechanism, Böcklin has jumped down to the spot that would have gone to the winner of Brauner v. Broodthaers, had there been a winner.  A fond farewell to Victor and Marcel -- and let's see who will win the presumably fairly strenuous honor of facing the winner of J. Bruegel v. Bronzino in the next round!

    My oh my, Böcklin took five straight votes to come from behind and take the lead, only to end up tied for the second time -- the first two-tie artist of the Tournament -- when the late votes swung against him. That locks up this branch of the brackets until the next Left Bracket Second Round tie comes along to mix things back up!
