Vote for the two artists of your choice! Votes generally go in the comments, but have been known to arrive by email, by postcard, or in a sealed envelope.

Please note that you may vote only once in each face-off. Opining that both of the artists in one of the two face-offs is superior to the other is fine, but casting your votes for two artists in the same face-off is not permissible.

  1. Del Cossa - love the weird details/perspectives.

    Daubigny - vive la France!

  2. Slipping a last vote in during January! Correggio in the top bracket - I sort of like night light baby Jesus. The bottom is tough; I quite like both. I think I will go with Cuyp, though, because I like his cows/bulls better.

  3. Give me the first guy in both battles. I'm just not buying the one with the two geese pulling that big ass boat. Come on!

  7. Del Cossa (fantastic fantasy - I want to read the children's book) & Cuyp (glowing cows)

  8. For me: Correggio, one of my faves. I was considering getting a Correggio tattoo at one point.

And Cuyp, who like Correggio is an excellent painter of cows.

  9. Alas, Corregio falls to del Cossa 4-9. It was a fair fight. Cuyp sends Daubigny packing 11-2.
