Vote for the two artists of your choice! Votes generally go in the comments, but have been known to arrive by email, by postcard, or in a sealed envelope.
Please note that you may vote only once in each face-off. Opining that both of the artists in one of the two face-offs is superior to the other is fine, but casting your votes for two artists in the same face-off is not permissible.
Del Cossa - love the weird details/perspectives.
ReplyDeleteDaubigny - vive la France!
Del Cossa & Daubigny
ReplyDeleteDel Cossa & Cuyp
ReplyDeleteDel Cossa and Cuyp!
ReplyDeleteSlipping a last vote in during January! Correggio in the top bracket - I sort of like night light baby Jesus. The bottom is tough; I quite like both. I think I will go with Cuyp, though, because I like his cows/bulls better.
ReplyDeleteGive me the first guy in both battles. I'm just not buying the one with the two geese pulling that big ass boat. Come on!
ReplyDeleteFrancesco Del Cossa, weird and fun and wtf?
ReplyDeleteAelbert Cuyp, mmmm......cows........
Del Cossa and Cuyp
ReplyDeleteCorreggio!
ReplyDeleteCuyp!
Email votes: Del Cossa over Correggio and Cuyp over Daubigny.
ReplyDeleteDel Cossa (fantastic fantasy - I want to read the children's book) & Cuyp (glowing cows)
ReplyDeleteFor me: Correggio, one of my faves. I was considering getting a Correggio tattoo at one point.
ReplyDeleteAnd Cuyp, who like Correggio is an excellent painter of cows.
Del Cossa and Cuyp.
ReplyDeleteAlas, Corregio falls to del Cossa 4-9. It was a fair fight. Cuyp sends Daubigny packing 11-2.
