Though initially leaning towards Carpaccio, I'm voting for Cassatt. Her paintings have that certain je ne sais quoi that pleases me this morning.

ReplyDeleteCarpaccio, though I'm sorry to have to vote against "Girl in White Rolling a Cigarette".
ReplyDeleteCassatt. Something about Carpaccio's colors turns me off, and Cassatt is very nice.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. I'm going with Casatt.
ReplyDeleteMary Mary.
ReplyDeleteThe new Carpaccio is the first one I've liked, although I've fretted that he might be being held back by poor image quality. Held back for ME, anyway -- clearly, he's been doing well in the tournament as a whole.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, even with the bump from the new painting, he's still not going to take away my Cassatt vote. There's just something about Mary.

Here's a vote-by-Christmas-card for Cassatt.
ReplyDeleteI do rather like the Carpaccio, but I think it will have to be Cassatt
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd voted on this before, but it looks like I missed it. Cassatt!
ReplyDeleteCassatt! So purty
ReplyDeleteCassatt for me too - that third painting is just beautiful...
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, it's a DRUBBING as Cassatt rips into Carpaccio to the tune of 13-1. She'll advance to Round Four, where... she'll wait for a long time until there's another Third Round tie that will allow the Caillebotte/Caravaggio tangle to be resolved. Until then, voting in this match is closed.
