The bracket was shaken up a bit this week when Cole and Constable, two artists that many voters found somewhat similar, fought to a 7-7 tie. They will reenter action sometime in 2014 against successful artists from the play-in tournament.
François Clouet

Scraped by living artist Francesco Clemente by a two-vote margin in Round 1. YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!!

Man, Cornell is pretty great!
Cornell!!!!!
Cornell.
Cornell, absolutely. Anything to keep me away from the creepy boob ladies. And Cornell is awesome.
The evisceration continues. Cornell!
Yea, okay, Cornell. Maybe someday he'll go up against Louise Nevelson and we'll have a box art show down?
One more for that boxy guy on Utopia Parkway.
I really enjoy looking at Clouet's works but in the interest of promoting a more mixed-media matchup here at the IAT (and also because I like Cornell too) I am going for the boxes.
Cornell. GO BIG RED!!
Oops, here's a email vote for Cornell that's been buried in the in-box.
What an easy one! Clouet! He had me at the pomegranate-colored curtains. Sorry, Cornell, but you're obviously safe here.
Well, I liked the creepy boob ladies! Clouet :D
Candida and Alison swept through late to stem the rout, but Clouet goes down to Cornell by a pretty substantial margin. Cornell will advance to a tough Third Round match; Clouet will advance to a tough Left Bracket match. Hell, they're mostly tough matches.
