Bronzino, thank you very much. His ''Venus, Cupid, Folly and Time'' alone. I liked reading the Wikipedia page about it. Apparently no one is quite sure what it is supposed to be about, allegory-wise. Lots of theories though.
Bronzino
Bronzino has a lot of personality, but I have to admit Brown is a better painter. For small difference, Brown!
Brown, clearly.
Ugh. I'd voted for neither one last round. That being said, the Bronzino cupid picture is really growing on me (that picture is hot!). Also, clearly, Bronzino has the better name.
I prefer Brown!
Mr. Fisk: And a catchy first line it has, too!
But would you vote for Bronzino over Ford Madox Brown in an interactive online art tournament?
Ford Madox Brown
Brown!
Brrrrronzino.
Ooh, toughie. Ford Madox Brown has grown on me, but he can still seem a bit treacly. I'll go with Bronzino.
Bronzino, for that weird alien-looking lady in the last picture.
A toughie: Bronzino has grown on me, but he can still seem a bit treacly. I'll go with Brown.
F.M.B.
I'm freaked out by the disembodied head in Bronzino (not to mention some of the other aspects).
And the match tips to Brown by a single vote; he'll go on to face Pieter Bruegel the Elder in Third Round action.
Voting is closed in this pairing.
