Josef Albers! Again I must say his stuff is better seen for real in a museum or gallery than on a computer screen.

Albers! After 6 months or so of looking at his art it's really starting to grow on me.

Andre. But as far as I'm concerned, they are both doomed.

I'm going to vote for neither on this one. Is that one just a floor mat?

Albers for me. Or, at least, me for Albers.

I like Albers less and less each round. Additonally, Andre does a magnificent cinnabun (although his artist as oj history is a bit disturibing)

Gonna have to go with Andre. If you're going to go minimalist, at least go in three dimensions. (maybe that's why my favorite Albers work is the nesting tables.)

Aww, I find each of these charming in its own way. You know, for 20th-century art, at least.

I was thinking that Andre woos me with shape in a way that I don't usually feel; the shadows of the cubes are beautiful, and there's something elegant about his other shapes, perhaps. But when I noticed that I spent a good 90% of the time on pictures 2 and 3 admiring the wooden floors, I realized that it's not so much the art as the wood I'm into, ultimately.

As for Albers, is it possible that you have not yet made picture #2 into a quilt, Michael5000? I hope you do not find these fightin' words, but I think he's out-Mondrianing Mondrian there.

(Albers gets my vote.)
