Blake is a big favorite of mine. Sorry Boccioni.
Blake
Boccioni is craaaazy! I like his stuff!
I really admire Blake, and for a lot of things that don't necessarily get communicated in the single images. So though Boccioni is indeed craaaazy, crazy like a Futurist, I'm sticking with Blake in the second round.
I'm going with Blake this time, on the strength of the God-with-compass image. I like it.
Boccini! ALthough Blake is good.
A strong vote for Boccioni. Not digging the Blake ones here, particularly the manimal one, and I really like the Boccioni-
Chuckdaddy
Blake!
Boccioni, I think. Something about Blake has always rubbed me the wrong way.
A mail-in vote for Mr. Blake.
However -- although the new second-round image warms me towards Blake a bit -- MY vote in this match is going to Boccioni. Color! Energy! Dynamism!
I've always thought that Blake was a bit overrated, though given how far these images are from my idea of what they are, I'm kind of suspecting that I've seen bad reproductions in literature textbooks, and I'm kind of oddly drawn to Boccioni here, but I think Blake wins this one anyhow. I wonder if he would if I didn't know his name, though, you know?
Blake...? I don't feel strongly for either, though.
Confess no background in european artists. so going by what catches the eye and imagination- Boccioni
Blake
The dust settles on this contest with Blake defeating Boccioni, 9 to 6.
