It's interesting scrolling down sometimes--I mean, I've got an easy affection for Sir Peter right off the bat. But up against the exquisite crazy brilliance of artistpoet William, he doesn't stand a chance. One more for W.B. in awe, envy, and not infrequent befuddlement.

W. Blake
ReplyDeleteAn easy one! Blake. William Blake.
ReplyDeleteIt's close, but I'm going to have to go with W. Blake.

ReplyDeleteI vote to eliminate both of them from the competition.

ReplyDeleteSir Peter, totally. That other Blake is just SOOO melodramatic. Lay off the opium, dude.
ReplyDeleteWilliam for me.
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Sir "Sgt. Pepper" Peter, although William's engravings do more for me than his poetry does.
ReplyDeleteWilliam.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Blake, definitely!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely William.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Blake!
