It may be a boring postcard (and sad... no visitors at all that day?), but it's very interesting architecture.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't they have parked a few beaters in the lot? The building looks a lot like an oven....
ReplyDeleteMy vote: NOT boring. I've been there--it's really cool! The reason it looks like the building is built into a hillside is that there are dinosaur fossils in that hillside that you view from inside the Visitors Center.
ReplyDeleteI really like the fact that the photo wasn't retouched before being printed as a postcard. Somebody could've Photoshopped out the trashcans and the oil stains on the pavement (assuming the postcard's from the Photoshop era), but I like it better this way.
