Your Wednesday Boring Postcard from Michael5000
The White Inn is a beautifully restored and elegantly decorated c.1868 hostelry in historic Fredonia, NY, between Erie and Buffalo. Superb cuisine has won many culinary awards. Sail on Lake Erie in the inn's boat, enjoy the town's summer bandstand concerts, and attend cultural programs at nearby Chautauqua Institute.Provenance: Gift of frequent L&TM5K commenter Elaine.

That's actually a pretty good postcard, saves you having to describe the hotel room and all.
That place looks too nice for me. I'd probably end up having a "boring" kind of weekend in there because I'd be scared of messing it up, love stains and otherwise.
We've stayed there a number of times--though not in this particular room. It's a pretty college town in a lovely part of the state. At one time there were a lot of antique shops and wineries in the immediate area, though both ventures have constricted in the past decade. The last time we were there, hundreds of acres of Concord grapes were left in the vineyards; Welch's declared they did not have enough natural sugar (cold, wet summer.) Tragic.
I am amused, M5000, that the quiz was replaced by a boring postcard, especially since I'd written this, just the day before...I like the postcard thing, honestly.
QUIZ ACTION!!! SWEET!!!
