Whoa, I think I stayed there. A few decades after construction. It had another name, didn't smell so good, the appliances were elderly, and that pool had been filled in to make a playground grotto, but I think it's the same place.

ReplyDeleteThat opportunity is however no longer open. Google Maps and Street View reveal that nothing doth remain, but doth suffer a sea change into something rich and a bit garish. But we could try calling EXbrook 3-0331 and seeing who picks up.
For best results, you have to pick up the phone and say "Operator, get me EXbrook three, zero three thirty one!"
