WORLD FORESTRY CENTER, PORTLAND, OREGON
The World Forestry Center is a magnificently constructed monument to wood where people can learn about forests and man's use of the forest through fascinating animated exhibits. The host of the Center is a spectacular 70-foot Talking Tree (left photo) which explains how a tree grows, using the latest techniques of exhibitry.
Provenance: Gift of the Morgan F. Shirley Collection, 2010.
