I suppose I should actually read some of these. I did enjoy The Kite Runner but couldn't get into #10 or #6. And of course I went through all 7 years of Hogwarts.

Despite having read a number of these books, I am only sure of a few of my answers. I suspect M5000 of just mixing up authors, actors, and titles. (I've read several Byatt works, but is this the actual title of one? I've read _God of Small Things_ but all I can remember is the IndoAsian author is a woman... ) Okay, I'll stop asking for literary quizzes!

So we've got three competitors with 12/12.

With her fourth Star in six weeks, Kadonkadonk keeps her red hot streak alive to take top TQLXXV honors to claim her first Gold Star. This makes her the fifteenth Quiz Legend to complete a collection of Stars: Gold, Silver, Blue and Green.

Right behind her to claim his third Silver is d. d is also on a hot streak, taking his third Star in four weeks.

Karmasartre takes his third Blue Star; it's his twentieth overall, making him the four contestant to reach that landmark.

Anticipating dissent over Question 2, an executive decision has been taken to award Green Stars to the four participants who scored 11/12: la gringissima, DrSchnell, Critical Bill, and Boo. Especially Critical Bill, who clearly smelled a rat.

I should stop guessing on a subject where I have no chance... (I think I saw the movie version of several of those, but I read "classics" & mysteries...)

Hah - then I don't feel so bad about having never heard of number two.
