I think the theme has something to do with humiliation. Hence the ritual cleansing, and the way I feel when something is identified as "incredibly famous" (as in #3) and I have no idea what it is.

1 Muslims are walking 7 times around.... that thing that was somehow related to Abraham but is now shrouded in a holy black cloth. They're fullfilling one of the laws of Islam.

As for the theme of this week's quiz, I can only narrow it down to important objects, sites, and routes of religious importance. I'm sure you're looking for something more specific. I would say simply "religious pilgrimages", but I'm not sure how #4 fits into that category (if I've even identified it correctly).

ReplyDeleteYeah, if I would have been able to read it I would have identified Canterbury tales. I thought it was a pretty fancy edition of Pilgrimʼs Progress, but it seemed to fit the theme.
