This season, the Thursday Quiz is a sequence game. Arrange the ten items in the proper sequence!
Remember always the Fundamental Rules of the Thursday Quiz:
1. The Thursday Quiz is a POP quiz. No research, Googling, Wikiing, or use of reference books. Violators will lose their internet privileges. All of them. Permanently.
2. As long as you made it this far, you might as well play. It's not all about winning, you know. It's about using your knowledge and reason and making an educated guess. C'mon! It'll be fun!Atomic Numbers

A: Carbon
B: Einsteinium

I know I goofed. It's been a while but I remember some of them from using them in Tanga puzzles. I keep expecting people to begin to name babies after the elements.
D / I / C / A / F / E / G / H / B / J
They would have been easier to sort by atomic rooster.

That makes Morgan, with the only perfect series, the winner of the TQLXVI Gold Star! It's his first Gold, his second Star overall.
Boo takes the Silver, her second. It's her eleventh Star overall, which vaults her into the all-time top ten Star winners!
Serendipity claims the Blue, her first and her fourth Star overall. With a Green still warm from TQLXV, and an E.P. from this week's Monday Quiz, she's got a streak of three consecutive wins going!
...and speaking of the Monday Quiz: DrSchnell did not take an MQLVI E.P., so his run of five Exclaimation Points came to an end, tying his own record. However, with HER MQLVI E.P., la gringissima has ALSO reached the five-in-row-mark to tie the record... with her streak still alive. Stay tuned for next Monday's Quiz on Latin American folk art!
@Elizabeth: I wanted to give you this one just for the "element of surprise" remark.
That's okay - family honor has been upheld.
